About Us
We, the Department of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease, functions as the specialist department in Pudukkottai Medical College from 2017. We have tuberculosis patient drug-sensitive and MDR treatment wards (40 + 10 beds) and a non-TB respiratory disease ward (30 beds). We maintain a thoracic ICU with a separate ward in our hospital.
We provide complete thorough investigations for tuberculosis: CBNAAT, Truenat, and sputum.
We have bronchoscopy for further investigation purposes.
