Our exemplary department of General medicine under the able guidance of chief and our head of the department has been functioning very efficiently.
This department has been extending its fruitful services solely for the welfare of the needy people. Various specialties like CARDIOLOGY, NEUROLOGY, NEPHROLOGY, is providing incomparable high - quality treatments, and medical emergencies are treated and given prime importance 24hrs a week.
We take classes in OP and IP for MBBS students with clinical demonstration..
We also take classes for paramedical students, CCT, Physician Assistant, Emergency technician.
We conduct symposium and general clinic in ward on weekly basis.
We have conducted various CME with eminent speakers from various medical college to undergraduate.
Our Services
INPATIENT SERVICES :
This department Has 4 medicine units, one male and one female ward accommodating around patients.
Emergency medicine patients has been treated effectively in TAEI Ward involving toxicology.
Intensive medical care unit is providing high end and effective care treated by medicine and anaesthetists.
Daily admission -90 to 100.
Monthly we have treated 2500 to 3000 in patients.
We have fully equipped IMCU,IRCU , poison treatment units which gives an exceptional care to the needed people and give specialized care to geriatric patients.
OUTPATIENT SERVICES :
This efficient department has rendered its out- patient services maintaining an separate Male op and Female op and covering to a maximum of 250 to 300 patients on daily basis.
The outpatient department functions on all days including gazetted holidays. We have an separate fever op which runs exclusively during epidemic outbreaks, It has doing an exceptional performance in ongoing COVID 19 outbreak.
Non- Communicable Disease (NCD) OP is conducted on all working days, providing effective treatment for all the needy patients.
Cardiology op is functioning on all Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
Nephrology op on all Monday and Wednesday
Neurology op on all Tuesday and Friday.
Monthly we have treated 8000 to 9000 out patients .
Geriatric OP is conducted in separate consultation room and dispense medicine in consultation room itself.
ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES :
Involving in academics of DNB Emergency medicine Post graduates.
Training of students belonging to category of physician assistant, critical care and accidental and emergency medicine.
