The Automated detection systems
The Automated detection systems ( BacT/ALERT and VITEK 2 COMPACT) was inaugurated by Respected Dean DR. S.KALAIVANI MD.,D.V., on 08.01.2025 at Diagnostic laboratory, Department of Microbiology Government medical college Pudukkottai.
BacT/ALERT is widely used for diagnosing blood stream infections and other sterile fluid infections that requires rapid detection of pathogens.
VITEK 2 COMPACT is used for rapid and accurate determination of antimicrobial susceptibility.
